I'm sure not many of you would have heard of the book series by Rick Riordan [it's an awesome series BTW] with the exception of Andrea :P
Anyhoo,
The movie [DAMN RIGHT!!!] is coming out on 12th February 2010 [so looong] and I am very much looking forward to it. Director is Chris Columbus [Director of Harry Potter & The Sorcerers Stone & Chamber of Secrets]
Not only that, the lead [Logan Lerman] is pretty darn hot.

I'm pretty pleased with the choice for Percy Jackson, although I can't say the same for the other characters.
1. Grover Underwood for one is not [and I'm bot being racist here] black.
2. Annabeth Chase [lead female] is blonde and around 12 in the book. She is NOT a brunette 20-something year old woman. Even LOGAN is only 17!!! GAH!
3. Kevin McKidd [yes, Owen Hunt on Grey's Anatomy] is playing Poseidon a.k.a Percy Jackson's father. =.="
4. Uma Thurman is Medusa [BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH]
5. Pierce Brosnan is Chiron =.=" I'll be watching the movie going, "Look! It's the old guy who played James Bond!"
