No, I'm not going to make up excuses for m
yself regarding that matter, it's rather filling in the blanks of what I've been doing :)
First off, there was this movie I saw some time ago (erm...two weeks ago?)
It's a modernised version of Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations.

Starring Ethan Hawke
and Gwyneth Partlow
:)
It's about this guy named Finn (originally Pip) and this girl Estelle who fall in love but are from different social circles. It's like a classic romeo and juliet but no one dies :)
The most heart-wrenching part is this one scene when he put's Estelle's aunts hand on his chest where his heart is supposed to be (who is the sole reason why they are not together!!!!!!!!!!) and says. "Can you feel it? My heart...It's broken..." I swear I almost burst out screaming :(
But they get together in the end :)
Yea, when I explain it you won't get it, so you know what you should do? Go watch the movie :)
And while we are on the subject of movie's can someone PLEAAAASE take me to see this one

:D
Alright, now that I have that out and over with now I can blog about The Baking Spree, Swimming Gala and Jo's awesome party :)
First of all, The Baking Spree
Went to Bangsar Village and hung around till Andrea came. Grocery shopped till Shu Anne came, we each got a coffee and ran up to Aldo to get my present for Joanna and ran up some more to go to MPH to buy stuff, went back to my place.
Who knew that a straight 5 hours (AT LEAST!!!) of baking could leave you exhausted and annoyed? :O
It all started off happy and jolly and -insert other similar meaning adjectives here-
For the first hour ofcourse, then (TV addict that I am) turned on the TV (duh) and started watching SpongeBob Squarepants and Fairly Odd Parents
Result of this seemingly harmless action - Everyone -by everyone I mean Andrea, Shu Anne and I- got distracted by the amusing yellow sponge and his equally amusing pink starfish friend
Now, this seemingly harmless action seems to result in a seemingly harmless result, right?
WRONG.
Because everyone was distracted by the yellow sponge and the pink starfish we lost focus (Shu Anne messed up the icing on the cupcakes several times, I decided that spongebob was more interesting than the cookie dough in need of kneading -heehee, bad pun-, Andrea "forgot" to put in the sugar in the second batch of cupcake icing, which we had to later take out of the fridge and put in) and ended up feeling lazy
See kids, this is what the television does to your brains. IT ROTS THEM.
Yes, I speak the truth because no sooner did we turn off the television and attempt to finish off the baking, we suddenly found my oven mits and their uses veeeeery intriguing.
Maybe it was just us.
I say it was the yellow sponge and his pink starfish friend in the brain rotting box we call the television
Gawrsh, do I feel awfully long winded today! :)
-End Baking Spree-
-Begin Swimming Gala-
Which shall be continued tomorrow ya :)
Yes laa, procrastination does this to me. AND SO DOES TV!!!! Which I think I'm going to watch now :)
